Summary
Postcard used as promotional material/ advertising for the Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd Health Imaging Department circa 1998. It features a classical painting with an x-ray transparency inserted into the image to make it appear as though the classical subjects were analysing x-rays. Titled, 'The Art of Digital Science, by Kodak' the postcard belonged to a former Health Imaging employee, Darren Ash.
In the Health Group, Darren was involved in setting up digitised systems for clients using Kodak's medical imaging products and services. Health was a small but significant part of Kodak's business, and it adapted successfully to digital technology.
This document was donated as part of the Kodak Oral History Project. It complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Physical Description
