Summary
Kodak Sydney 2000 Olympic Games commemorative lapel pin with a extendable section made to resemble a strip of film, and containing an image of a soccer ball being placed on a field.
It is one of three lapel pins originally housed together in a presentation box, all produced to promote Kodak's sponsorship of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Eastman Kodak was official sponsor of the event worldwide and Kodak Australasia were heavily involved at a local level, so pins like these were given as promotional tools to clients but also as staff mementoes.
This object complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
