Presumably the list records the names and addresses of individuals to whom Dr Howard posted copies of her publications between March and August of 1960. The Australian individuals included are: 1) Mr Geoffrey G. Rossiter, Executive Officer at the United States Educational Foundation 2) Professor George Browne, former Professor of Education at the University of Melbourne. The American people listed include: 1) Mr J. Manuel Espinosa, Chief Professional Activities Division at the International Educational Exchange Service, Department of State in Washington, D.C. 2) Dr Francis A. Young, Executive Secretary at the Conference Board of Associated Research Councils, Committee on International Exchange of Persons in Washington D.C. 3) General John N. Andrews, no address listed.

One of a collection of letters written to and from children's Folklorist Dr Dorothy Howard between 1954 and 1995. Dr Howard came to Australia in 1954-55 as an American Fulbright scholar to study Australian children's folklore. She travelled across Australia for 10 months collecting children's playground rhymes, games, play artefacts, etc. The original fieldwork she collected during this period is held in the Australian Children's Folklore Collection (ACFC) at Museum Victoria and includes index cards, letters and photographs.
