Summary

Yellow insulated stubby holder or drink cooler made for Eastman Kodak, circa 1980s. Items like these were sold or given away as souvenirs to staff and customers to promote various Kodak marketing campaigns in the 1980s.

It was donated by the wife of a former Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd staff member, Ron Williamson, who worked at Kodak for many years. Ron maintained a small collection of Kodak products and souvenirs after he retired from Kodak, which he displayed in his home, highlighting his loyalty and attachment to the company.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
