Summary
Colour photograph of Graham Francis, John Chester and Ed Woods at Graham's retirement function in 1981. He is pictured here between the managers, holding his silver platter for forty years service. Graham retired at the age of 57, after forty one years with the company, much of that time as a buyer in the Purchasing Department. The photograph was taken with Kodak Instant Film, a short-lived and rare film type due to the ensuing patent infringement lawsuit won by Polaroid in 1985.
