He has written on the back, sending his love to his sister and her children. He was killed five months later in the trenches of France.

Postcard featuring a photograph of a seated soldier in uniform, holding a swagger stick. The back of the postcard has extensive text and printed address fields. It has three large stains and a loss over the top stain.
