Summary

Black & white photograph of two Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd employees, Ray Bice & Arthur Greaves. This was taken at Ray's retirement circa 1971, after 22 years in the Plumbers Shop at the factory. He is being presented a gift of a Will Glahe polka record.

This image was housed in an album of photographs and captions created by Yvonne Cameron (formerly Welch) during her period of employment at Kodak from 1964 - 1975. Yvonne worked in the canteen and camera shop at the Coburg plant and in the office at Cameras, Reels and Sundries.

This album was donated as part of the Kodak Oral History Project. It complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
