Black photograph album previously containing 120 black and white photographs of the construction of Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd factory buildings at Coburg. Includes aerial, ground level and interior photographs of many buildings including Building 2 - emulsion making, Building 7 - testing and the Power House - Building 11.

This album is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Black photograph album with brown and blue lining, and metal binding; previously containing 120 black and white photographs. The photographs are printed on light weight paper; they have four holes punched on the left side which are attached to the metal binding of the album. Many of the photographs have typed captions printed under the image. Others have a reference number and date stamped on the back.
