Blue velvet case in original cardboard box, used to house George Eastman Medallion awarded to former Health Imaging manager Elizabeth (Liz) Delahunty circa 1990s.
This object was donated as part of the Kodak Oral History Project. It complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Physical Description
Blue velvet medallion case in a white cardboard box. Inside the medallion case is white satin lining, foam cushioned base, and a small card detailing the history of Eastman and the Kodak company.
