Factory sample of a Chinon GLAF transparent body 35mm camera, belonging to former Kodak product manager John Waddell. John worked in sales and marketing for both Kodak Australasia and Eastman Kodak during his career. Chinon operated out of Japan and in the late 1990s Kodak acquired a controlling share in the company. This is an early example of the products released by Asian Kodak subsidiary companies which entered the market in the 1990s and proved to be significant competition for Australian manufacturing.
