Summary

This photograph was taken by the author B. Wongar on a journey between Alice Springs and Tennant Creek in the mid-1960s. Wongar's photographs capture a period of time in Central Australia when a large proportion of Aboriginal people were actively employed on remote cattle stations in the region. In this image, a man is pictured sitting upon a swag with a billycan by his side. A cattle truck and station utility can be seen in the background.
