Summary
This photograph was taken by the author B. Wongar on a journey between Alice Springs and Tennant Creek in the mid-1960s. Wongar's photographs capture a period of time in Central Australia when a large proportion of Aboriginal people were actively employed on remote cattle stations in the region. In this image, four stockmen have stopped work to make tea on a mulga wood fire.
