Summary

Kaapa Tjampitjinpa (circa 1926 - 1989) photographed whilst singing at Papunya in 1977. Kaapa is holding a can which he used to beat the rhythm whilst singing. The sung being sung concerned ancestors travelling from Winparrku (Blanches Tower) to Ngama (near Yuendumu).
