Summary
Instruction sheet printed on both sides explaining, in detail, the process of pre-toning, toning and fixing, and noting which Austral products can be used at each stage of the process. Previously contained in a box of Sun P.O.P Gelatino-Chloride 'Printing Out Paper' made by Baker & Rouse Pty Ltd, at the Austral works in Abbotsford, circa 1890s. The box also holds a number of degrading plastic negatives.
The Baker & Rouse Pty Ltd company was set up by Thomas Baker who operated in partnership with John (JJ) Rouse. The company merged with Kodak in 1908, with Kodak greatly expanding the original Austral Abbotsford factory over subsequent decades.
