Single index card describing a child's game or activity. Part of an index file to the Dorothy Howard Collection's games manuscripts. American scholar Dorothy Howard visited Australia in 1954-55 on a Fulbright grant to study children's folklore. Over the following years she systematically housed the descriptions of children's games and other activities she had gathered on her visit, and created index cards.
Part of the Australian Children's Folklore Collection (ACFC), Archive Series 3. The ACFC is an extensive collection documenting children's folklore and related research.
