The scrapbook was compiled by Noel's mother, and contains telegrams and letters from his mother and other family members, as well as newsletters and comfort parcels from the Kodak Comfort Fund, and newspaper cuttings and official documents relating to his training, leave and service. Noel was moved around Australia extensively during his training and service before he was de-mobbed, and the scrapbook reflects his travel around the country at this time.
