Summary
Metric converter slide rule manufactured and distributed by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd circa 1970s. It converts metric and imperial measurements for photographic applications.
It belonged to Ken Turner. Ken worked for the company from 1938 to 1981, first in processing and then customer service. Ken's son Neil later had a long career with Kodak Australasia, based at Coburg.
This object complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
