Place & Date Depicted
Edgecliff, 28 Darling Point Road, Greater Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1924
See Sunday Times, Sunday 24 February 1924, page 16 for mention of Marjorie and Winnie Lucey's arrival in Australia from the USA. Based on the verified age of Marjorie's daughter Winnie in other photographs in this collection, and her estimated age in this photograph, this particular image must have been taken on their 1924 visit to Australia. The Rouse home 'Kardinia' was at Darling Point, which apparently by 1951 was known as Darling Point Road, Edgecliff. -
