John Joseph Rouse was a co-founder of Baker & Rouse and then was a founding managing director of Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. His son Edgar Rouse was also a Kodak executive. Edgar started his career at Kodak in 1918, was a managing director of Kodak Australasia from 1928, and later succeeded his father John Joseph (JJ) Rouse in 1938.
