Summary
Cardboard poster advertising Kodak super-size prints. The poster, titled 'Save all your good times on Kodak film' has a picture of a man and woman looking at a set of photographs. The woman holds the photographs and the man holds the Kodak branded film wallet. It has been suggested that the man in this poster might be Australian actor Bill Hunter as a young man. This was probably used as point of sale advertising.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
This poster is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
