Summary
Small circular paper disk promoting the 1985 Australia Games.
The Australia Games were held in Melbourne in 1985 as part of Victoria's 150th celebrations and was attended by over 1,000 athletes from thirty-one different countries.
As a Foundation Sponsor for the games, Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd provided accreditation facilities and a dark room at Olympic Park for photographers. The company also ran a sporting campaign through their dealers offering $500,000 in prizes - including the opportunity for a family of four to travel to any sporting venue in the world. Within the company, the Australia Games logo was used on posters for the Total Quality Program at Kodak Australasia and included the slogan 'Quality is not a spectator sport'. The posters were on display company wide.
This document belongs to the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
