Summary
Cardboard poster advertising Kodak colour photos. The poster, titled 'Two Sets of Kodak Prints for the Price of One!' features an image of two cardboard photo envelopes slightly raised off the surface of the poster. Three photographs appears to be coming out of the top of them, the photos depict two small girls, a boy on the shoulders of a man, and a yacht sale. This was probably used as point of sale advertising.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
This poster is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
