Blank Entree card, most likely used by the Consul for the German Empire William A. Brahe, for an evening reception given my the Mayor of Melbourne and his wife, Mrs Gillott, to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York at the Town Hall, Melbourne, on Friday, 10th May 1901.
It is one of a set of ten invitations and entrée cards used by the Consul to the German Empire William A. Brahe and his daughter Sabina Peipers during their attendance at the celebrations and official events surrounding Federation and the Opening of the First Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia in 1901.
