Programme for the 15th Annual Kodak Annual Ball hosted by Kodak Australasia, which was held at the St Kilda Town Hall in Melbourne on 1 September 1961.

The programme features a dance schedule and menu, and it also has room for autographs on the back page. Syd Palmers Orchestra provided music for the ball.

The donor of this item, Maureen McDonagh (nee Verdon), attended the ball. She worked for the Kodak Australasia Research Laboratory for 10 years from 1954.

Maureen's sister Joan Verdon also worked for Kodak, in the developing and printing department.

This programme is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
