Summary
Ticket to the Opening Ceremony of the First Australian Exhibition of Women's Work, issued to Miss Lillian Mary Wise, held on the 23rd October 1907 at the Exhibition Building, Melbourne. Miss Wise was the secretary of the Sale Committee for the Exhibition of Women's Work and an entrant in the Wooden Carvings Section of the Exhibition. As with many states, countries and regions the Sale Committee held their own Exhibition prior to the Australian Exhibition.
