Summary
Correspondence relating to a black & white photograph of Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd staff in Sydney, from Annandale & George Street, after their inter-office cricket match circa 1946-1948. This was sent by former Sydney employee Les Bizzill to his colleague Fred J. McGill in Sydney's Retail Service Centre, who forwarded the image to Joan Hunt at Coburg for the 'Trip Down Memory Lane' segment in the Kodakery circa 1977.
This document is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
