Summary

Silver Centenary of Kangaroo stamps miniature sheet, produced as part of the 2013 World Stamp Exhibition, which was held at the Royal Exhibition Building (REB) from 10-15 May 2013. These miniature sheets were printed onsite at the REB with a digital printer and all had a different printing effect. There were five produced in total, one for each day of the Exhibition. The postmarks across the five days were in different colour foil printings. The design relates to the centenary of Australia's first national postage stamp, the Kangaroo and Map which was released in 1913. As part of the 2013 World Stamp Exhibition Australia Post is released a $10 stamp and a range of associated collectables to celebrate the centenary of the Kangaroo and Map stamp. The 2013 World Stamp Exhibition was the largest collection of philatelic items on show in Australia since 1984 with: 91 stand holders, over 1,000 official participants, and 54,000 pages of competitive exhibits from 60 countries.

Black miniature sheet with Kangaroos imprinted on background, printed image of the Royal Exhibition Building in red, printed $10 Kangaroo and Map Centenary Stamp in top right corner, Centenary of Kangaroo Stamps logo top left corner and printed Melbourne postmark in blue bottom right. Housed in a black card and plastic cover, in a grey cardboard sleeve with image of the $10 Kangaroo and Map Centenary Stamp in red on both sides.
