Summary
Colour slide of an operator donning protective clothing in a locker room in Building 13, Paper Finishing, at Kodak Australasia's factory at Coburg, circa 1980s. He is wearing a belt with a tool pouch attached. His white uniform helped to protect the photographic products.
One of several colour slides originally housed in a cardboard box with a label address to Tonia Mercadante, Consumer Finishing. Images in the box are mostly of the Film & Paper Finishing Department, including workers and views of the Coburg site.
This object is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
