Fred Hunter Junior's Sporting Achievements:
Fred Hunter was the Captain and Coach for the Southern Stars in 1957. Other members of his family who also played with Southern Stars were Keith Hunter, Ron Harding, Maurice Harding and Eric the Bud. Fred also played for Healesville.
The reason they call Fred Junior 'Bull' was because he knocked out the Australian Lightweight champion of 1949 at the back of the Grand Hotel in Healesville. (Bill Hunter February 2018)
