'Facett' Opaque Blue Grey 99.117.134, V5.1 hearing device manufactured by Blamey Saunders in Melbourne and launched in 2018.

1/2 module colour prototyping for user tests. This navy blue was developed for a colour workshop with stakeholders. The idea was to provide an alternative colour to black, white, neutral.

The 'Facett' hearing devices were designed by Melbourne designer Leah Heiss who was inspired by the beauty of Museum Victoria's geology collection. Launched in 2018, they were carefully designed to be a hearing device that looks good and that users want to wear. Issues addressing stigma, useability, access and cost make this collection even more unique in the hearing device industry at this time.
