Summary
Photograph of staff near a sign for the 'Wak Trak', an outdoors walking track created specifically for Kodak Australasia employees at the Coburg factory site, to keep them physically active and healthy.
There was a day track of 2.3 kilometres and a night track (for factory shift workers) of 1.3 km. The sign tells walkers they have reached the end of the day track and should turn back. Through the Wak Trak program, Kodak were investing in workplace health and safety and employee recreation.
This object is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
