Summary
This painting depicts flying foxes resting in the trees during daytime in the paperbark forests of the Arafura Swamp. The flying foxes are full after feeding on berries and fruit during the night. The small lizards in the centre live under stones and eat the berries and fruit dropped by the flying foxes as they feed.
