Summary

The painting depicts Banambu, a mischievous figure and his personal enemy, the Death Adder. Banambu can be helpful but is also known to be a tease and also obstructive. He feeds on the white berry of a small shrub, and warns women when they are picking this fruit if the Death Adder is nearby.
