Physical Description
An oval shield pointed at the ends made from a single piece of wood painted with natural pigments. The geometric pattern across the outer surface is outlined with black and infilled with white pipe clay. It has a horizontal band across centre and is painted at the tips in a black/brown colour. The handle is carved into the reverse side.
