Summary

Tourist map used by Beryl Adams while on shore leave in Cape Town, South Africa. It includes a map of the central Cape Town and a map of the Cape Peninsula, as well as general tourist information on transport, entertainment and places of interest. Beryl Adams came to Australia as an assisted migrant from England on the Orient Line SS Oronsay in 1959. She then travelled back to England to visit family in 1967 on the SS Arcadia, and returned to Australia in 1968 on the SS Oriana.

All three voyages were made on the P & O / Orient Line ships; SS Oronsay in 1959, SS Arcadia in 1967 and the SS Oriana in 1968.
