Physical Description
Ground edge axe hafted onto a cylindrical piece of wood with beeswax. The handle and hafted area have been decorated with painted designs of bands of black, white, yellow-brown, and red-brown ochre. The beeswax mount has been painted with a multi-coloured dot pattern. MATERIAL: wood; stone; wax; ochre. TECHNIQUE: flaked; ground; hafted; painted; cemented.
