Physical Description
Decorated ground edge axe with a split wood handle bound with bark fibre and twine at two points. The axe has been hafted onto the handle with beeswax. This section has been decorated with painted designs of cross hatching and dots in red, yellow and white ochre. Split wood handle has been painted with red ochre.
