Mounted ground edge axe on split wooden handle. Entire object covered with red ochre. Axe head decorated with white and yellow dots. MATERIAL: wood; string; ochre; resin. TECHNIQUE: hafted; painted; cemented; ground. CONDITION: Few borer holes in the handle.
