Physical Description
A figure of the head and body of a bird made from a single piece of hardwood painted with natural pigments. The body is oval shaped and decorated with crosshatching and images of fish painted with yellow ochre. The long tapered neck and the head are painted with white pipe clay and the beak with yellow ochre. It is attached to a rectangular black base.
