This model is of a CF Bedford ice cream van, which travelled the streets of Melbourne in the 1970s. The originals were made in Australia by Holden, using one of their engines.

It was made by local model maker Michael Molesworth in 2000 for the `Melbourne: Stories from a City' exhibition at the new Melbourne Museum. It was displayed until the exhibition closed for redevelopment in 2007.

Physical Description
