Although not one of Prue Acton's favourite designs, she was photographed wearing the pantsuit with coloured beads and matching sandals on a return trip from England in 1972 (Daily Mirror, 13 October, p.53).
Physical Description
Broad check cotton pant suit in mauve, teal blue, orange and green. .1 jacket: Single breasted revered collar and two large patch pocets at lower front to side seam. Three black buttons fasten the front. .2 Matching pants with wide waistband buttoned and zippered at centre front. At the back left hip is an upturned pocket flap. The legs are very wide and have broad cuffs (11cms).
