Summary
This coat dress was designed in 1965 by Prue Acton, and manufactured in Melbourne by Michael Guidara, who made all of Prue Acton's tailored garments during this period. Donor says that menswear tailors could interpret her sketches and produce the patterns from her designs that were very feminine in shape. This design was a very big seller.
Worn by donor when pregnant with daughter Tiffany.
Physical Description
Red polyester gaberdine mini raincoat with zippered front and belted at waist. The skirt has inverted pleats back and front. The garment is lined with red rayon.
