The original of this garment was made for the donor to wear to an America's Cup (Challenge) function in Fremantle, West Australia 1987. This garment is part of a ready to wear range. The buttons on the jacket were made by Melbourne jeweller, Marcos Davidson, who made many pieces of jewellery for Prue Acton.

Physical Description

.1 Royal blue silk satin jacket, double breasted with 8 large silver anchor buttons. The lower back has a 'kick' pleat. There is a right breast pocket and two side flap pockets. The lining is dark blue polyester. .2 Matching royal blue silk satin straight skirt with stitched waistband fastened at centre back. Lined with dark blue polyester.
