Summary
Made for Prue Acton in 1965 for a special occasion, to her design by Alouette, a company which was upstairs next door to her company. She produced a range of underwear with a similar look through Kayser. The linear detail is a design feature which reoccurs throughout Prue Acton's career.
Physical Description
Cream coloured cotton mid-calf length dress trimmed with cream lace and black velvet ribbon. The dress has a scooped neck and elbow-length sleeves. Bodice is decorated with pin-tucks. Zip-fastened at back.
