Ensemble with metallic splatter pattern. It was made by Prue Acton &/or contractors, 1980-1990, and was a sample garment for retailers. The jacket price was $140 and pant price $90 (see Supp. File for Swing tag). It was probably worn with splatter-patterned sash SH 942635.
Physical Description
.1 Jacket of lightly quilted gold and bronze hand printed silk. The jacket is slightly fitted and has a mandarin collar. The neckline buttons from the top to hem with many small fabric covered buttons. The lining is brown silk. Swing tag has been removed to Supp. File. .2 Camisole top with 'shoe-string' straps and metal button at centre back. .3 Pants = Brown silk straight legged pants (Swing tag removed to Supp. File)
