The pantsuit was worn by Prue Acton at annual 'May Fair' Parade for Vogue in Sydney 1980 (photo available), with shoes Worn with shoes SH94.2190. It was possibly also worn to Oaks Day 1980 Flemington, Melbourne. It is the same cut as 1980 Melbourne Cup ensemble, 'Byzantine'.
Physical Description
Olive and cream silk reptile print pant suit. .1 Padded jacket with zippered front and mandarin collar. .2 Long sleeved blouse with mandarin colar buttoned at front from collar. The cuffs and collar are cream silk. .3 Elastic waisted straight legged pants.
