Summary
Alternative Name(s): Suit, Pants Suit
Gold reptile pattern pantsuit, made by Prue Acton Pty Ltd and/or contractors in 1980 and worn by Prue Acton. The print was designed by Mac Tomlinson, and was very popular in Japan. It was also used on gold and beige versions of the outfit. The same cut was used for Prue Acton's 1980 Melbourne Cup outfit 'Byzantine'.
Australiana designs captured the nationalistic mood of the time.
