Summary
Metal Tool with a hook on the end used by artist Martha Ash, circa 1996. Martha Ash was born in Poland in 1920 and lost all her family in the Holocaust. She came to Australia in 1949 where she studied ceramics, sculpture silver smithing, enamelling and glass mosaic. This tool was used in the enamelling process. Martha Ash died in September 1996.
Physical Description
Small tool used in enamelling process. Tool has wooden handle and metal neck attaching to a long metal rod with hook at end.
