Summary
This dress was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L circa 1972. The original belt is missing. According to the donor, midi length garments were popular from the late 1960s.
Physical Description
Midi-length long-sleeved cotton dress in grey and white. The shirt bodice is striped and the front opening is buttoned to the waist. The skirt is dark grey and appliqued with rows of black, red, white, brown and orange 'rik-rak' braid. The long sleeves have wide buttoned cuffs. The skirt patterning is repeated in the shoulders and sleeves as patches. Belt is missing.
