This skirt was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1980. Part of range inspired by Prue Acton's 1980 Melbourne Cup outfit, with 'Byzantine' theme. This example was worn by the donor, often with a cream jumper with beaded fringing in the collection SH 942043.
